Puthur Sree Durga Temple

Calm,peaceful and spiritual atmosphere..this is the temple of goddess durga..also prathishtas of lord krishna,ayappa,naga,dakshinamoorthy,ganesha are also here..this temple also have historical importance..this temple is by samoorhiri raja..there are lots of myths/beliefs about this temple..one of them is that this goddess durga is saving this area from the sea by pushing back the sea by her feet etc..like this there are lots of myths behind this temple..This is very good temple..I used to go here every week or obviously in every month..

The temple have n outstanding traditional infrastructure . most importantly the nature beauty of the temple . the ampence is always calm and quiet with a peacefull atmosphere . temple have. a beutifull nayural pond it can be very usefull for the devotees . its also one of the best shelter for shabarimala pilgrims.

As you enter this temple a positive energy flows through our body. You feel like you have seen good in front of you eyes . I often this place . Loved it

Puthur Sree Durga Devi, dedicated to Goddess Durga is located at Kozhikode. The most important festival of this temple is Pooram festival. It is a ten-day festival usually falls on the Pooram asterism in the Malayalam month march-April

Navarathri is another prominent festival celebrated in this temple.

A really divine and peaceful place. Durga Devi resides here in full glory.
