Devotional atmosphere. Powerful idol. If a lot of grieving people come here because they are sure to get relief here. One can offer prayers to the Lord without any commotion or disturbance till the mind is calm. The staff also greets the devotees very gently.

Sree Alathiyoor Hanuman temple. The presiding deity of the shrine is actually Bhagavan Sri Ram. But the temple is famous as Hanuman temple because it is believed that Hanuman worshiped here is getting ready to go to Lanka in search of Mata Sita after obtaining blessings of Lord Rama. This is the reason why there is no murti or worship of Sita in the temple. The murti of Hanuman worshipped in the temple is leaning a little towards left towards Shrine of Bhagavan Sri Ram. It is believed that Hanuman is listening to the secret word (abhignana vakyam) that would enable him to win the confidence of Mata Sita. There is a platform in the temple is believed to be the spot from which Hanuman took the mighty leap to Lanka over the sea.
This temple is 7 kms from Tirur railway station and about 60 kms from Trichur Railway station.

Alathiyoor Perum Thrikkovil is situated in a small village in Tirur, Malappuram District. It is situated in a village far away from all the city rush.
Even though the main diety is Lord Shri Rama, the kovil is famous for Lord Hanuman . This is one of the oldest Hanuman Temples as well.

Here Lord Hanuman is a little tilted towards the diety of Ram as listening to the cue words from him. It is believed that the Lord Hanuman worshipped here is getting ready to go to Sri Lanka to meet Sita Devi.

Lord Lakshamana is placed outside main temple compound.
There is a pond as well in the temple and a platform where people can take a leap which is believed to be done by Lord Hanuman on his way to Lanka

Good atmosphere and wonderful experience

Offerings to Hanuman : Gadha Samarpanam (offering Gada to Lord Hanuman to fulfill our needs)

Vazhipadu : Avil Nivedyam, Palpayasam

Parking : Devaswam Parking , Pay and Park

Nearest Railway Station : Tirur

This temple has a great ambiance and a beautiful pond. The temple is situated inside a village away from all possible distractions. There is enough parking space for a bunch of cars. The temple is not often crowded , so this will be an ideal place for meditators and peace seeking devotees.

Very powerful temple dedicated to Hanuman. Beautiful and serene. Lord Hanuman's posture here is very different with joined palms. People visit this temple for fulfillment of specific tasks. Within the temple premises, there is a special place where one can take a leap/ jump across a stone for successful completion of tasks, which is considered similar to how Lord Hanuman crossed the sea.

The temple at Hanuman kavu is preserved in all it divine glory. Hanuman ji is tilting his head to one side and listening keenly. This place is also said to be the place from where Lord Hanuman too his great leap to Ravana's Sri Lanka. Tirur the town, is close to the Arabian Sea coast.
