Omalloor Temple Junction

Temple jn was mostly not too busy jn.There is an bus shelter for adoor-pta route,but no bus shelter for pta-adoor route and pta-kozhencherry route.
There are so many shops for all kind of needs.One of the ATM is there,but it's not not working nowadays.An auto stand stands for passengers.

Traffic jam is a hourly issue at the spot. Vehicles those are coming from Elanthoor side will suffer.

Nice place which Omalloor temple is face of this junction. An ATM is nearby there is route to go Elanthoor with out going Pathanamthitta. Heavy traffic is inthis area go slow.

The Rakthakanda Swamy Temple located in Omallur,  Pathanamthitta District, known as "Omallur Temple". It is a Pilgrim Centre on the way to  Sabarimala  from  Pandalam, The Birthplace of Sree Ayyappan. The Temple annual festival of 10 days in the month of Medom of Malayalam Era.  During the festival days, there is a customary Arattu procession to the river Achenkovil. More than 10 elephants decorated with Nettipattom will be a speciality of this Arattu. The Temple has a Golden Flag Staff. The Temple Side of Big pound and Parking ground.

Omalloor temple situated here in this junction. Omalloor temple is a main pilgrim centre for sabarimala devotees. All sabarimala devotees visit here during sabarimala and pandalam trip.

Just be careful about the tight curve and rush.

This is on Pathanamthitta - Kaipattoor road. From this junction we can go to Elanthoor (Pathanamthitta - Kozhencherry road) through Prakkanam. This is a small junction with only few shops. But in 300 meters we can reach Tharayil which is a big junction with lot of shops and facilities.
