Pristine temple of goddess Baghavathy. A calm and really quiet place. Famous for its turtle/tortoise pond. A good place for bird watching also. Feeding tortoise is a part of ritual here in this temple. It is believed that feeding tortoise can cure your warts. The place is diverse having variety of birds and butterflies that can please your mind, relax your ears and swing your mood to niravana:)

Famous temple in north Malabar. You can see a natural pond near to the temple with white and black tortoise. It is believing that if we feed these tortoise (vazhipaadu), will reduce the skin diseases.

Nice temple amidst of trees(kaavu) with Mahishasura Mardhini as the main deity. Goddess Saraswathy is the sub deity. A spectacular pond with hundreds of tortoises, n hence known also as Aamakulam temple. During noon time the tortoises are fed with temple prasada. Adukkathu Bhagavathy Temple also known as Adukkath Meolom Temple, is situated near to Kundamkuzhy, and is easily accessible by Poinachi - Bandadukka road or from Periya- Monnamkadavu- kundamkuzhy road in Kasaragod district.

This temple is famous for the divine turtles which are considered to be the resemblance of lord Vishnu's koorma avathara. The temple is situated in serene natural beauty and there is a pathway to the center of the lake where devotees can offer naivedya to the turtles.It is believed that offering naivedya to the deity can cure skin diseases.The temple is covered with kavu which are groves of trees with religious significance. A must visit place if you love calm and pleasent natural ambience..
