Puthanmadom Sree Mahadeva Temple is situated in a solitary place more than half a km east of Kalarkod Mahadeva Temple. This temple is a traditional family temple dedicated to Sree Mahadeva( Lord Siva ).and it is managed by Puthan madom Sree Mahadeva Kshethra Committee.

The temple is fully renovated with reconstructed Nalambalam, and Sreekovil in the traditional style and architecture. The sree kovil is beautifully built of black stone (krishna sila ) The deity Puthanmadathappan was consecrated on the reinstalled idol with dedication and devotion on 04 06.2017.

The atmosphere is very calm and serene. This is a place where devotees can choose to worship and spent a while peacefully.
