Chittoor Sree Krishna Swamy Temple

A temple devoted for Hanuman Swami is also situated behind the main temple , near the western gate.

It's believed once upon a time, an earnest devotee of Lord Guruvayoorappan told the lord his old age makes it no longer possible for him to come and visit him. The lord told him to return without looking back. He walked back till Chittoor and could not hold back from looking behind. He looked back and Lord Krishna sitting on the top of his umberlla jumped down saying he was told not to look back, but as he did look back, the lord would not go with him any further. The devotee with remorse got a temple established there.

The temple has been maintained very well, the original structure which might been done a century back is very much intact here. It just gives you a Devine feeling when you enter the temple.
