Sri Bettada Bhairaveshwara Temple

The temple is really nice and situated in a very secluded place. Only sound can be heard are of those beautiful birds. The approach road is not very well maintained and kind of off road. The last 100 mtrs stretch is very steep and full of gravel. You can plan the drive accordingly or park if little before the temple.

Temple is opened only in morning and not sure it will be open in evening too.

Nature livers can enjoy the view and near by mekanagadde betta trek which gives awesome breathtaking view. We can also see ettina buja hill from this peak.

Be a sensible visitors do not litter and maintain the serenitybof this place , do not use this place for individual enjoyment.

Temple is old style and reached here exactly during the time of Pooja.

Cars can almost reach to the temple and there might be slush during monsoons.

There are various trekking spots close by if you are interested.

One of the oldest and beautiful temple. Do visit during monsoon. It's suited on top and around the mountains. To reach u need to do off-roading, roads are bad but it's worth. There are steps which is built in olden days which lead u to temple or u can use road to reach the temple.

Enjoy the place. Hike start from temple bottom and you can go for hike till top of the hill. There is a trail you can go for full day hike to top

One of the oldest and beautiful temple to visit, it sure wasn't much known until it was on Kannada Movie.
Best to visit in monsoon / rainy seasons. There are steps to climb up from the main road and you can drive your vehicle till the temple and don't have to worry about the parking either.

Been to this temple on the Dec 2022, and as we heard from the local taxi driver is that the temple is open until 9AM daily(Not verified.
But we managed to reach the temple by noon and it has a good surrounding view.
The temple is relatively clean, but the structure can be maintained better.
Took a few piks and a worthwhile visit at Sakleshpur.

It's one of the great place to visit nearby by sakaleshpura. I suggest to visit this in early morning or evening or foggy time. In that time place looks great than a sunny time.. behind this temple there in another trekking point, if you are going there plan accordingly. If you come early morning it will be easy to trek to that point.
