It's a Devi temple known as Gangamma and a holy ritual is celebrated once in a year with jaatre (celebrations on exhibit). People from villages all around the this small town visit and perform pooja with offerings. Mostly observed, the priest (brahmin) performances at temples in Mulbagal and surrounding places are similar to Andhra style against the actual Kannada style.

Gangamma devi is the mother of all our town people.
