To enter the temple we need to be in proper dhoti and lungi Hindu attires as other dresses are not allowed. Also no leather items are allowed. Ladies can wear sarees and salwar to visit the temple.
The temple timings are from 7 am to 8 pm in the evening.
There is an beach near the temple where we can do camel ride and other fun activities.
Pleasant and soothing I loved this place though I am not very fond of visiting temples
All the temples around are good donot skip panchaganga temple and krushanai temple
1. No Foreigners are allowed.
2. Men are allowed with lungi as attire (no jeans, pants or shorts) - It can be bought outside from markets in around 70 bucks.
3. Women are allowed with traditional Indian attires like saree.
Also lines can be huge on peak days (It took me 1.5 hours in the line on Saturday)
The temple is built in Dravidian style and looks as simple as it was. The temple faces the cleanest Gokarna beach of Arabian sea.
This great temple is dedicated to God Shiva and also known as Atmalinga which is unique in the world. This masterpiece also regarded as Dakshin Kashi, often being paralleled to Shiva temple at Varanasi.

There is no fee to enter the temple You can visit the temple from 6 am to 12:30 pm and 5 pm to 8 pm every day.
No Foreigners are allowed. Mens are allowed with white lungi and Women are allowed with traditional saree/suits.
