Small but beautiful carvings both inside and out side. . There three diets, laxminarayqn, Krishna and Hiranyqkashap.

The inside pillars and main gates if the three temples are amazing. Also the ceilings have some unique designs.

The poojqri is there only in the morning and evenings. If visiting in the afternoon than contact a local person to call the poojari as the doors are locked.

Visited Sri Lakshminarayana Temple a Hoysala period Architectural wonder at Hosaholalu, just 5 kms away from K R Pete, Mandya District. It's a Trikutachala temple with main diety Lakshminarayana, Venugopala on left sancctum and Lakshminarasimha on right. The temple has beautiful carvings both inside as well as outside. Inside the pillars the roof panels, thorana panels are exquisite. Outside is typical of Hoysala sculptures . It's a treatise to see the artistic zenith achieved in stone.

Our pride hoysala dynasty has carved the lifestyle in stones.. Place is so beautiful and definitely heaven for photographers. Ramayana mahabarata stories are bought into life here like 3D art.. Hats off

A must visit temple for all those who love the Hoysala Architecture. This temple is located in a very remote town, KR Pete, which is 180 kms from Bengaluru and 40 kms from Mysuru.

The temple is located in an Agrahara created by the then rulers of Mysuru. The frontal look of the temple is very different in comparison to the carved gopuram and the walls in the rear.

Many of the carvings on the walls resembles the idols done in Halebidu and Beluru. However the carvings are not as sharp as what is observed in these two temples, especially the facial look.

All in all, a must visit temples to medieval architecture lovers. Carry your camera to capture some stunning carvings on the temple walls.

This is an ASI managed temple and is a 13th Century temple.

What an incredible treasure is this temple.

I feel the scriptures are revealing a lot of information and secrets.

And it'll be a great move if we can preserve these type of temples with immense care and Love.

Hats off to those who built the temple with so precision and accuracy.
It is our duty to protect the temple and it's environment

Ramayan, Dasavathara, Krishna Lifting govardhan parvath etc can be found on the various scriptures

It’s one of the most beautiful and well maintained Hoysala era temple in a beautiful & exceptionally clean village. The evening time is best for the light makes the temple glow different. The interiors are equally marvellous and the compound is decently maintained. It’s a small place but will require atleast an hour to appreciate its beauty. The place should be preferably visited in personal vehicle and the nearest big place is Krishnarajpet for frequent public transport

Poetry in stones. Well preserved architecture mesmerises you. On of the miniature temples of Hoysala architecture. Do visit and take a look at the temple interiors. Surrounding is clean and the place is not crowded
