Madhure Shani Mahatma Temple

Sri Shani Mahatma Temple, Kanasawadi is located at a distance of 14 Km from Nelamangala on Nelamangala - Doddaballapur Road in Doddaballapur taluk, Karnataka. This place is also called as Chikka Madhure. The temple is equally important and sacred like Shaneshwara Temple at Pavagada in Tumkur district. Distance from Rajanukunte to Chikka Madurai Road, Karnataka is 18.8 km and takes around 35 min via Madhure Temple Road.

The Shani Mahatma Temple located at Chikka Madhure was constructed by Ganga Hanumaiah, a local farmer. The temple attracts devotees in huge numbers especially on Saturdays of Shravana Masa (beginning in late July and ending in the third week of August). It is believed that one can get rid of or lessen the negative effects of Sade sathi or Ashtama Shani or Panchama Shani on worshipping or by offering special poojas to Sri Shaneshwara Temple at Chikka Madhure

Very nice temple. You can feel the power of the deity. Staff is polite and humble. Well managed for a Saturday visit. Even the devotees are cooperative and friendly. Temple even provides free bhojanalya. Felt very happy visiting the place 🙏🙏🙏

Holy place. Please visit the temple if you are traveling between Nelamangala and Doddaballapur.

A good visit, it is famous for vehicle Pooja, the people around temple force you to buy flowers and coconut. There are some construction going on needs to improve a bit, there is also food available post 11 AM here.

Located very close to both doddballapur and nelamangala; this temple is house to the deity of Shanishwara swamy.

You can get your vehicle Pooja done here, with a lot of other generic Pujas as well.

I visited this temple today, and it's pretty much unexpected and unplanned place.
While going ghati Subramanya temple, I seen this temple with huge crowd and vehicles are parking outside (located in between nilmangala and dodballapur road).

There is some construction and development is going on, even though it is well maintained and very calm place. There is free Anna Prasadam also available, food quality also good.

The most important shani Mandir of the country and people come from all over to please shani dev and get his blessings. The temple is 40km from Bangalore and has excellent detailed road.the management has taken due care for darshan.offerings and movements of pilgrims.
