Mallayya Gudda

Very nice place.. Good picnic spot for your family with childrens..Needs good connectivity..

This is one of the Holly Hindu worshiping god Sri Mallaya temple mallaya gudda near bagalkot. This temple is very large area and water spacialies are available so some of weddings are conducted here. This temple is on the top of hill so it's call as mallaya gudda. Back side of this gudda / hill krishtna river is there very nice baground .

Amazing location. Overlooking Krishna-Ghataprabha backwaters. About 16 km from Bagalkot City. To a point the road is good but no metalled road for last 4 km. But it's worth the drive once you reach the destination. The old temple is on hillock overlooking the water and railway bridge. Very clean place. The route passes through reserved forest. You can spot peacocks.

Best place to visit at evening sunset....
Can take children for Playing... Had beautiful view and can spend time here.

It's a mallikarjun temple . The road from Bagalkot to mallayan gudda is bit narrow and not that great. There are sign boards showing the direction to the temple. When we visited , no one were there. There is ample car parking space and a small park with swing and sliders but the park is not well maintained . We found a way to go upstairs and witnessed sunset. The view from the top was super with hills around and river, birds .

We went trekking on 26- may-2021 with our junior football students from bagalkot city to mallayyana gudda that was a superb journey with my teammates, students and our support system Arun SG

Good place for picnic with family
. Don't go for swim in krishna back water, as crocodiles were spotted aften. Needs good connectivity

be careful if ur going through track, its good that u visit in rainy day..
Earthworms give u a good company in off road
