Chundra Surya Mandir, Tandwa. Good place to worship Lord Surya. Three rating for not cleanliness. It is famous for Chhath festival, Ganesh Puja and marriage ceremony.

A must visit place to add to your list if u ever come to hazaribagh. This is just beside sun temple of tandwa. Though tandwa does not fall in hazaribagh, it is in Chatra actually. This is 46 km from hazaribagh block and 38km from chatra block. This wonderful place can be seen from the highway itself connecting barkagaon and tandwa. On a regular day, u wont see many people here. Though on holidays, its crowded. U can fathom the beauty of this place by looking at the pictures. I would recommend not to visit in monsoon because the level of water is too high to walk through the river. Otherwise it would be an apt place to do some rafting if there were facilities.

Situated on the bank of Tandwa river at Simariya Tandwa Rd. It's a very old temple. Good decorum Every year there is a fair held that attract the tourists.
