The temple is situated inside the Jasrota wildlife sanctuary. To reach there you have to walk on the rocky path through the jungle. Half the path has stairs but rest of the path is completely Rocky and covered with forest. If u are a adventure loving person who like to see old forts and jungle, it will attract u.

It seems to be a temple but now it's abondon. A good archeological site needs to be preserved. The area around is very scenic. Take the stepping walk away to see the temple fort. It is inside the Jasrota Wildlife Sanctuary.

An ancient temple situated inside fort.. Peaceful area around the temple.. Raja Hira Singh, the nephew of Maharaja Gulab Singh, is believed to have founded the town after his name when he was bestowed with the jagir of Jasrota by Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Punjab (1834–44 AD). He also renovated the Jasmergarh Fort situated between Tarnah and Bein Nallahs. The fort also housed the tehsil and other government offices prior to 1947. Later the offices were moved to Hiranagar.
