Very peaceful, I felt immensely rejuvenated visiting here. Behind the temple there is a lake and a very old tree. Loved this temple very much. The entire property has been renovated and well maintained.

According to Hinduism, Nageshwar means the god of snakes, which is also a symbol of escape from the poisonous Adi. In the Rudra Samhita, this deity is called Darukavan Nagesh. Nagesh Darukavan is mentioned in a verse on geographical location in the twelfth Jyotirlinga. Jyotirlinga located in this Darukavan is Nageshwar Jyotirlinga located at a distance of 16 km from Dwarkapuri temple in Dwarka district of Gujarat. The Beyt comes from Dwarkamandir on the way to Dwarka.

The present temple of Nageshwar Jyotirlinga is very large. Adjacent to the main temple, there is a 125 feet high and 25 feet wide idol of Shivaji in a meditative posture. Devotees can see this huge idol of Lord Shiva from a distance of two kilometers. This idol is very beautiful and captivates the minds of the devotees. The main entrance of the temple is modest but also beautiful. As you enter through this gate, there is a red colored temple of Nageshwar Mahadev. Before the main temple is an auditorium with small shops selling worship materials.

The temple opens at 5 a.m. with Aarti. The temple opens to the public at 6 p.m. Devotees of Shrangar Aarti can perform darshan at 4 pm. The entrance to the inner temple is then closed. Shayan Aarti takes place at 7 pm and the temple closes at 9 pm.

Gopi Lake is three kilometers away from the main temple. The lake has yellow clay called Gopichand. There is also a Dharamshala nearby which has accommodation for the devotees at the Nageshwar Temple. Apart from this, Gopinathji's temple and Vallabhacharyaji's seat and Radha-Krishna's temple are also located here.

Please don't littar any plastic waste anywhere in nature. Nature place always should be cleaned and plastic free...

Good devotional place in Dwarka. Temple is good and Lord shiva ideol made in External area of temple is huge and I think it’s sponsored by Late Gulshan Kumar ((T Series). Area outside temple premises need to maintain properly as it is dirty.

It's one of the jyotirlinga. It's quite spacious. Though we went in peak season and the crowd was quite heavy.. It moved quite faster. It's clean and well maintained. It's quite peaceful.
Its open till night and no closing in between. So you can plan anytime of the day.
Its just 16 kms from dwaraka. Or can reach here after finishing Bet Dwaraka

Superb place and positivity is all around. Spend time to absorb the cosmic energy and devote yourself to the almighty. Some better maintenance needed to improve infrastructure but overall great place and must visit when you are in Dwarka

The darshan of the Jyotirlinga is highly spiritual and eternal peace to the soul of all mankind. The darshan process and the administration is quite nicely organised. The massive statue of Lord Shiva outside the temple in sitting position is very breathtaking.
