The present temple of Nageshwar Jyotirlinga is very large. Adjacent to the main temple, there is a 125 feet high and 25 feet wide idol of Shivaji in a meditative posture. Devotees can see this huge idol of Lord Shiva from a distance of two kilometers. This idol is very beautiful and captivates the minds of the devotees. The main entrance of the temple is modest but also beautiful. As you enter through this gate, there is a red colored temple of Nageshwar Mahadev. Before the main temple is an auditorium with small shops selling worship materials.
The temple opens at 5 a.m. with Aarti. The temple opens to the public at 6 p.m. Devotees of Shrangar Aarti can perform darshan at 4 pm. The entrance to the inner temple is then closed. Shayan Aarti takes place at 7 pm and the temple closes at 9 pm.
Gopi Lake is three kilometers away from the main temple. The lake has yellow clay called Gopichand. There is also a Dharamshala nearby which has accommodation for the devotees at the Nageshwar Temple. Apart from this, Gopinathji's temple and Vallabhacharyaji's seat and Radha-Krishna's temple are also located here.
