This shrine or Ashapura is steeped in antiquity as far as its origin is concerned. There are references to this goddess in the Puranas, Rudrayamal Tantra and so on which are all said to point to this shrine in Kutch.

This temple is good. But there is some issue with cleanliness. There is also and market beside the temple.

One of the most famous temples in kutch district and everybody must visit here as it has huge importance among the locals. One must read the origin story of the goddess written on the left side wall. It's very rushed on navratri, festivals and also on weekends. Any type of photography is prohibited inside the temple. All can be done in the premises. Maha prasad is always available for the devotees.

Always a pleasure to visit spiritual place. Going in off season was the best time as we got to have Darshan easily. Toilets are not clean and maintained rest of the place is good.

Such a devotional place...
Architecture was so good.
Thought it would be a bigger one.
It's a smaller place but the commercial places surrounded this is big.

Religious place.
Such temple is dedicated to Maa Ashapura.
Crowdy during weekends & holidays.
Many stalls are there outside the temple.
There is parking & toilet facility available.
Temple has beautiful architecture.

Spirituality at its peak. It's ur inner hunch that brings u here. I have also felt the same attraction which pulled me here and when I visited it second time, I found it more developed. U can visit it either in the morning or after 3 pm as it's usually closed in the noon. Toilets were dirty, sorry to say bt nice to see SBI ATM inside the premises. The small market is a good place to buy trinkets bt depends on ur liking. It has ample places to have a cuppa or two with local sweets. I tasted and found it good specially the mawa sweet brown in color. Aa usual food is free f charge and I had it upto my fill bt the plates were nt cleaned up to the mark so it's advisable to carry some tissue papers or a piece of cloth. The place as usual, people dnt keep it clean as hundreds of people are coming everyday. The road from bhuj was good almost 70% And on the entire way u will find petrol pumps.n hotels/ resorts to stay comfortably n ofcourse road aide dhabas too.
Above all, if u e purely concerned about ur devotion then other problems can b neglected. People e nice n cooperative but the local population of so called saints will ask u for financial favors from 5-10 rs. To anything that they can eek out. So dnt entertain them or it's upto ur liking.
