Rundhnath Mahadev temple located in Ramnath Ghela Shamshan Bhoomi in Surat, Devotees visiting this temple are seen offering live crabs.

Once a year, devotees who offer crabs to the Shivling come to this temple to fulfill their vows and ask for more vows. On the day of Ekadashi in the month of Magha (માઘ), devotees perform puja by offering crabs.

The story of this graveyard is connected with the Ramayana period. According to that, Lord Rama passed through here when he was in exile for fourteen years (૧૪ વર્ષ વનવાસ). At this place he received the news of the death of his father Dasharatha, so he prayed for salvation by offering Pind dan at this place.
