Such a great place to visit to enjoy nature.
It is our heritage temple of 12th century with 3 elephent statue which was built by Solanki kings.
The name of the temple was derived from the amount of 9 lakh rupees which believed to have been spent on its construction by Solanki kingdom.

At Bhanvad Ghumali Village, there is a ancient temple called Navlakaha. This Ghumali village was known as Bhumilika or Bhubhutapalli in ancient times. This is called Navlakho because behind its designing and architectural spent costliness.

Ghumli is also called Bhumli, was once the ancient capital of Jethwa dynasty of Gujarat. The town was established in 7th Century AD by Jethwa Sal Kumar.

Very less crowd come here . Peaceful place , few small radside tea stalls are there .

From Jamnagar taking Lalpur road, from Porbandar taking Ranavav road can be reached directly to Ghumli . You can take digital map navigation help also .

Freely pre wedding photo shoot are done.

Architecture is marvelous .

Navalakha Temple, Ghumli
High noon of Solanki architecture

Built in the 12 century, this temple is an important example of Solanki architecture. Its base is the highest of that period, and it has a rare two-storeyed mandapa.

Besides elaborate friezes with lotus, pot, kirtimukha, elephant and human icons, it is notable for the elephant pairs with intertwined trunks under the central niches of the outer wall.

The name of the temple is derived from the amount of nine lakh rupees believed to have been spent on its construction.

Its a hidden gem of our ancestors from the twelfth century. The architecture is still preserved well. Although one can't visit inside the temple anymore.
