Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama

I was used to go in the ashram on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda's birthday which is celebrated as YOUTH DAY. Many activities were held like debates, quizzes, poetry & many more things. This is an Hindu temple works under a trust. Many charitable works were also done here. Eye hospital of ashram is quite famous. The works done here for the upliftment of society & Nation is really appreciable.

Serene, calm and a spiritual place. Also had the cheapest and best hospital, run by the Coal India limited. Any doctor's visit is Rs 30 only. Doctors are very courteous and competent.

Doctor available here for all kinds of disease from morning to 1 pm.. medicine are available at affordable prices..for eyes specs very low price it is available as compared to market..allopathy and homeopathy both treatment are available here. Other than doctor books shop is also available for swami vivekananda books at cheap and best prices..A temple is also there for peace and worship.. beautiful gardens are there where anyone can sit in morning and can exercise and meditate.. overall very quiet and beautiful place to get treated physically and mentally.

My eye was checked at three machines

I saw crowd in the place mostly for cataract operation.
In front of me I saw 20 patients coming one by one from operation theater.
I enquired few of them about the cost
some said 8000, some 10000 some 12000.
cost depends on type of lens placed in the eye.

Spectacle lens were cheaper in price but good in quality.
Meanwhile I overheard that a computer is being stolen from the office.
All in all its a good place .
place is neat and clean as well.

Beautiful place and it's garden and campus is so clean. Better Treatment in hospital is also provided.

Went there for eye check up but I found physiotherapy is also there. So I booked a session with Abhishek Das who works as therapist there. It was a nice experience. He is a very good doctor. One should come here for physio session as well.
