We had availed their services for Pind Daan on 14 OCT 2022. They charged 10000/- for 1 person and they did nothing but handing over us to some local agent/person to take us to Punjabi Dharamshalla where another Pandit took us to do Pind Daan process which took around 4 hrs with NIL contributions from ISKCON.
What we noticed, ISKCON purohit was just money minded and did not guide us at all or rather never showed his face all through the pind daan process. Though he told us after paying 20000/- ( for 2 persons) no other charges will be asked to pay, but still we had to pay extra money at few places like dakshina during puja to pandit, to another pandit to immerse puja material post puja, to pandit at Vishnupad, to travel from ISKCON to Punjabi Dharamshala etc etc...overhead expenses around 1000/-..
While booking we were told that 10000/- includes accommodation as well, however there was no arrangement to stay at ISCKON. He was trying to push 3 of us into 1 room without any bed and bathroom but we refused. Than he made arrangement for us in nearby hotel, still only 1 room for 3 of us though we paid 20000/- to him for 2 persons performing PIND DAAN.
Overall, it appears it was just money making tactics BY ISKCON or by this particular pandit. Pandit who did PIND DAAN puja for us did suggest to come directly to Punjabi Dharamshala for PIND DAAN which would have costed us less than half of what we paid to ISKCON.
At the end, I suggest please avoid going through ISKCON, Gaya for PIND DAAN puja, this will save your money and unpleasant feeling of unorganised experience during your visit.
