History
It is said that the temple was established by Rupal Prasad, the great-grandfather of Mahant Ajit Kumar, about 285 years ago. The foundation of the present form of the temple was laid by Mr. Kumar between 1993-94. He studied engineering. He left his studies in the middle and returned. After learning Tantra sadhna from the mother, she awakened the Tantric consciousness in the temple from the left path and the south path. Later in the year 2004 the idol of Mother Tripura Sundari and Mother Tara and in the year 2006 the idol of Bhairav Baba was installed.
Also on every Thursday people use to offer haldi dia and flower. A huge crowed can be seen here on Thursday.
The temple is located near Hathi Chowk, Muzaffarpur.
