Kali Temple, Police Line

It is very high temple. Its structure is very beautiful. But it is ignored. It should be put on tourism map.

This is one of finest kali mandir in mithila and is often referred to be twin temple of shyama temple of darbhanga.

It's a temple where Goddess Kali is worshipped. It was built during Darbhanga Maharaja rule.
People say that there is a tunnel with one end in this temple and other end in the Fort of Darbhanga Maharaja in Darbhanga.
Now a days this place is more famous for police line because here training of police occurs in the same premises.
The temple looks magnificent and one can feel the placid serenity here. It's hangout place for me and my friends. There is great celebration during Diwali with lots of lights and decorations.
I think that's the best time to admire the beauty of this temple.

Visiting since 2007, it's very good place, but now a days I see gathering of antisocial people like teenager having bad habits of consuming drugs , police should see this concern as police station is nearby
