Aulachowka Shiv Mandir

Aulachowka Shiva Mandir was established at the early years of 1930's or late 1920's by the Yogi or Nath people of Boinaoja ,Kuiyapani. As the Yogi people's consider Lord Shiva as their main worship God a handful of soil from Burhi Gokhani temple by then respectful people of the villages and constructed the temple by clearing the jungles and keeping 2 trees the Arjuna & Kendo as they were very old at that time but it still exists so as people say this two trees were more than 200 years old.
The temple was renovated to wooden by late 1960s and it became quite a happening place with school, club and library being set up by its side. Then since late 1960's the place began Durga Puja on the field in front of the temple. Then in year 2006 the managing committee of the Shiva temple started to build and renovate the temple to its present form through the donation of the people and government funds. The newly renovated and constructed temple was innagurated at Jan 2020. On this auspicious occasion a Maha Rudra Yogya was performed by people and various priest s from all over the state of Assam .
The temple hosts Shiva Ratri, Lakshmi puja, with great promp and show. It have the facilities to organise marriage and auspicious occasions as it have a community hall well equipped with rest rooms and water supply facilities.
