One of the oldest Ganesh Mandir in this region and is very much popular amongst the traveler. Its a common sight to see riders and travelers pray once before they start their journey. Mandir is situated soon after you leave Guwahati city and move towards Meghalaya and Upper Assam. However after the construction of the flyover it is not visible anymore. There is a side road which leads to the temple. The road is small so expect some congestion.

Visited this place on Ganesh Chaturthi and it was a great visit. It was very crowded that day and temple was not opened. I wish it was open so I could touch the ancient stone of Ganesha here. Soon I will visit again nonetheless. Ganpati Bappa Maurya!
