NAAMGHAR is very nice holy place. It's a pride of Assam. The sad thing is that previously it has peacock and other animals too but it has only a few deers.

Holy place.plz visit once. I visit there every year with my family in the festival of magh bihu. Its a festival of joy. We burn mejis(big bonfires) in his festival. Eat food prepared by newly harvested rice. There are three types of rice grown in Assam namely,
1.winter or saali rice.
2.bodo or summer rice .
3. Autumn rice.
Saali rice is cultivated in summer and harvested in winter like close to magh bihu. That's why we eat food prepared by saali rice in magh bihu
Plzz visit barpeta kirtan Ghar once. I personally recommend you 💓. Love you all

This is my birth-place, so holy & unfogateable. This monastery is one of the famous places in India. One can come to refresh his/her mind.
However, pls. come here during the Holy-festival (a season of Spring).

It is a main attraction of Barpeta and a must visit if you are there. Open your shoes at the gate as the signs are not very clear. If you are going by car or bike and crossing any of the gates, please make sure all the passengers get down and only the driver drives the car/ bike. People can get on the car after clearing the gate.

One of the historical place, woth to visit. Talked to locals and Pujari, they kept Tulsi Tree too tall and large width to explain its existence even today. That place is related to Mahapurus from 500 years back like Srimanta Sankardev and Madhabdev. Any many more to explore.
