An old historical places. It is associated with the Ahom kingdom. The pond "rangati pukuhuri" has lots of old stories associated with.
In some early days ( we can assume the early 19th century) the pond was related with a chklang marriage ceremony. Some said that they offered "Pan Tamul " as a blessing for the marriage and they will get some golden utensils in the next morning for the marriage ceremony which they return to the pond after the ceremony is over.
Some says that they have seen a golden boat too sometimes.
