Since 47 years, goddess Sri Sri Sri. Vana Durga Maatha showering her grace over the people of Burma colony. As this location was flooded with refugees from Burma in 1970's.
This area has been arranged as a temporary camp for all those refugees & slowly government has issued lands for all these refugees.
People of this colony heartfully believe that hlthis Goddess grace is on their lives
The temple was first started in a small hut to shed to well compounded worship place.
Thousands of people have their faith on this Goddess & they offer her greatly during auspicious days.
Navaratri is quite unique in this temple & it lasts minimum 13 to 14 days with well planned & Holistic Pooja's.
The temple is maintained by the colony residents & one can reach this temple via catching city bus Numbers from APSRTC Dwaraka Bus Complex: 38J (directly reaches the temple), any 400 you need to hop down near Coromandel Gate & take a 10 minutes walk, people will guide you.
