The Kodandarama Swamy temple is maintained by TTD. This is a very old temple built in the 15th century. Black tall idols of Lord Sri Rama along with Sita and Lakshmana are the presiding dieties in this temple. The temple offers a serene and peaceful enviromnent to the devotees. As this temple is not much known to the outsiders, this temple is normally less crowdy and hence best suited for devotees seeking solitude. The temple is mostly visited by the locals. Ample car parking is available outside the temple adjoining the the huge compound walls. The darshan of loed Rama will fill your heart with devotion and peace.

Pretty old temple it’s close to Tirupati railway and bus station.Good behaviour staff.it has a lot of historical significance.it’s great place to visit evenings and during festivals times.Great facilities provided by clock rooms, chappals and mobiles we have to keep with us on silent mode.Toilets was not sooo hygiene. Many hotels are there near by and you Can also have good time to do shopping also.

The idol of God Sriram,Sita and Lakshmana is mesmarisable. Big free car parking area back side of temple a must visit place for tourists who visit to Tirumala.

Visited Kodandaramaswamy temple in Tirupati. The temple was constructed by Jambavanta of Ramayana..Here Maa Sita is worshipped as goddess Lakshmi..She is on the right side of Lord Rama and brother Lakshmana is on his left side. Very interesting story.

Hidden Gem 💎 of Tirupati.. I have been to Tirupati so many times in my lifetime but I missed this place all these years! Got to know about this place through google and went to this place on a Saturday!!

Wow 🤩 what a divine experience… Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana give us blessings and awesome Dharshan.. the statue must be 5 ft tall and Pooja was happening when I went.. if you pay 20, you will be allowed to go inside n see very near and can give your name for Archana.

Otherwise, temple is not crowded and they gave an awesome puliyotharai Prasadam..

MUST VISIT PLACE, in addition to other important temples…

Usually we have seen Govindaraaj perumal, padmavati amma and Srinivasa mangapuram.. this temple is hidden gem and it’s located near the bazaar and 2kms from Tirupati railway station..

Don’t miss this temple next time guys.. and there’s a hanuman temple exact opp to this temple, which is also one of the oldest temple and we could see that the Hanuman statue is carved from a very big rock..

Overall great time and divine experience..!

This Kodandarama Swami temple is different than other Ramalayam. Here godess Sitha situated the right side of Lord Rama and Lakshmana Swamy on Rama's left side. Here in this temple statues are facing to West. According to vykhanasa culture godess should not placed in agneyam. Lot of place outside of the garbhagudi to meditation. A large dhwaja stupa and a tree of more than hundred years. You must visit the temple and meditate for a while. Your soul will feel the great positive vibrations.

Old temple with positive Vibes. Have darshan and just sit and relax in the temple premises with peaceful mind. Built in 15th Century and is located approximately a kilometer away from Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Bus Stand and Railway Station and it is surrounded by biggest cloth market in Tirupati.

One of the oldest, famous and peaceful temples in tirupati. When we went for darshan, we have taken ticket for 20rs (archana + special entrance) which allowed us to go very near to the God for archana. I am not sure if this ticket process will exist forever, but if anyone visit please take that ticket. Eventhough temple is small compared to other famous temples in tirupati, its serene and peaceful. If you have close darshan you will also feel very satisfied.
