Sri Someswara Temple

The most famous and temple in Bhimavaram. Sri. Some seats temple is one among five Shiva temples in Andhra.

Its very famous and powerful temple. This is one of the Pancha Rama Temple located in Bhimavaram. You will feel some vibrations after you enter here. The Shiva Lingam looks very different and you will feel the some power with in you. Visit when ever you will get time and some aspecious days. Some feelings can't explain, you should feel it.

This is an excellent temple to visit in Bhimavaram. There is a speciality in this temple, you will find siva lingam and parvathi devi deities nearby in same mandir. You'll find annapurna devi on the first floor exactly at the top of siva lingam location. She will resemble ganga. According to the priest the color of the siva lingam changes between white and wheat grain brown between the lunar cycles.

It is said that CHANDRA (MOON) did prathishta here for lord Shiva. Thus it is called as SOMAARAMAM and CHANDRAPRATISHTA temple.

This temple is the 1 St temple in 5 pancharama kshetras of lord Shiva in ANDHRA PRADESH.

This ancient temple dates back to 9 th century b.c built by CHALUKYA BHEEMA I of Toorpu Chalukya dynasty.

Very peaceful and powerful temple and must watch temple.
