It is one of the big govt. Science high schools. It has only for 11th and 12th standards. It has both mediums, Gujarati and English. It has well developed labs for each subjects. Like, chemistry, physics, biology.

C.V.M. Higer Secondary Education Complex, Science Stream, Vallabh Vidyanagar was established in June 1976. The donor of the Institute, Shri Rajratna Purushottambhai Patel was a native of Nar, Ta. Petlad. Shri R. P. Patel rendered his long services as an Honorary Principal of the School it was founded in 1976 and took the Institute to its highest summit of success. Smt Umaben Desai, Shri Jitendrakumar R. Patel and Shri H. C. Patel also gave unique services in the school, and at present Shri Sanjay C. Suthar has been serving as the Incharge Principal in the school.

To impart quality education of science subjects along with developing human values by serving the Social and emotional needs of students who are in a critical adolescent period of their lives.
