This is one of the best museum I have visited with its very unique theme Ayurveda.
You will need more than 1hr to visit the entire museum.
The entry fee is just 50Rs which is worth.
There will be a guide who will explain you everything about Ayurveda. We visited on Saturday afternoon and there was no visitors. Also it has got ample parking space for 2 and 4 wheelers.
A must visit place in Thrissur

Ohh wonderful place.
Takes you to a journey of Ayurveda. It life time worth visiting.
They have good models on ground floors depicting stories and evolution of ayurved and on first floor there are 3d paintings and artifacts.
They have medicines also on their shop. They have visual station self operative and one video film session. This is highly informative place to visit and connect with ayurveda.
They have different kinds of plants to see and check as well.

Very educative museum. I liked the different use of media, sculptures, texts, etc. that made learning quite fun and interesting. Definitely recommend for people who are interested in Ayurveda and those who don't know yet that they are. However I would have preferred to start with the museum and not the movies as it was difficult for us to understand the English accent in the video. Also I would have preferred to then go through the museum ourselves and read the texts. We felt a bit rushed through the museum with the guide and it was again a bit difficult to understand everything which was said. An audio guide would have been definitely more helpful for us. But the museum as such is very well done.
