Jagadguru Kripalu Ji Maharaj had built the temple The Bhakti Dham temple in Mangarh was built by Jagadguru Kripalu Ji Maharaj. He laid its foundation on 26 October 1996. The famous architect of Ahmedabad had prepared this temple in the year 2005 with a sense of devotion and reverence, which was also inaugurated by Kripalu Ji Maharaj on the 17th of November in the same year. Kripalu Ji Maharaj was born on 05 October 1922 in Mangarh village itself. It is said that where there is a Bhakti Dham temple today, it used to be his house. The walls of this temple, 108 feet high from the ground, have been carved by hand, whose shade is made on sight. At present, according to Hiranyamay Chatterjee, secretary of Shri Kripalu Ji Parishat, the organization that manages the temple, 'Bhakti Dham Mangarh' is the first such temple in the world which is standing on granite pillars.
