Very beautiful place, everyone is polite here and you can sense a feeling of calmness and stillness when you visit here. The temple is really spectacular at night since it is lit, a must see at night. The water to clean your hand and feet are a bit warm so no need to worry during the winters.
There is a free kitchen as well which serves lunch and dinner. A very holy place must visit.

Love the place, very peaceful and positive vibes. Beautiful Temple and surrounding. Staff is so helpful and polite. In night Golden Temple is shining after all light on.
Your can only take pictures from camera, video shooting is not allowed in inside temple area.

Visited in March 2022. 2.5 hr of queue at 10:30 am in Tuesday. Be prepared for more time later.
Do visit the upper floors they r good and view is nice. Plan for visit in evening it is great. Kids and womens can go in separate line which is shorter or be part of the common queue.
Great experience

Even after going there, it doesn't feel like we have reached here, it looks more beautiful in the evening, the light around and the gold shining from the lake, it looks like a dream, this place is a symbol of peace, tranquility and community. , cleanliness is also taken special care here, it is also true that people who come here pray for their well-being and it is fulfilled, it is open 24 hours and food is also available 24 hours free for all passengers. So I will say that we must come here at least once in our life.

Very beautiful place to visit. Looks much more vibrant at night with golden colours all around. Definitely worth visiting with family. Although the outside lanes which lead to the temple are full of street businessmen and cons. They'll almost force or beg you to buy things which generally shouldn't happen at or near such a holistic place.

For the Sikhs, this location is sacred. You must take off your shoes and socks and wash your feet before entering. You must always keep your head covered.
An unadulterated, pleasant experience that has been well-maintained and controlled. There are people who will guide you, and the temple is quite clean. It is really lovely to view, especially at night when it is illuminated.
Do not miss to have food in Lungar.

The serenity and sanctity of the place brings harmony to your head and heart. You'd never want to leave the place. It's jam packed at all the times but yet soothing.
On an average day, you may have to be in the queue for about an hour or so, to be able to visit inside the Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple). There are two lines that move simultaneously - left one takes you to the front gate of the holy shrine and the right one takes you to the side gate of the shrine. Usually the right line moves faster. But people generally prefer the front gate for personal reasons. I believe God is everywhere and we can just sit anywhere in the world & meditate to be one with the God.

Experience the positive energy here. Nice & beautiful surrounding. Few things that can be helpful for you if you're visiting here first time :
Submit your shoes on outside counters, cover your head, dont take any battery/Power Bank inside & lastly take photos with precautions.
