DECCAN COMFORTS Tucked away in a simple ambience in a prime location was the comfort zone....The Deccan COMFORTS. I came from Mumbai as a single female traveller on work.Two days prior,I spent in a YUCKY Oyo Hotel room.Having searched for a good 3 hrs in the scorchy climes ... with heavy baggage sauntering slowly...was denied in 2-3 places coz they wouldn't oblige a single woman.Finally,came across this Oyo room in Lakdika pul opposite to Adarsh Mithai Bhandar.Was asked to pay Rs 1700/- per day.I bargained for Rs 1500 and shelled out Rs 3000 for 2 days coz they sure took advantage of my helplessness.They never allowed me to go see the room and then pay.That was their trick. The room was very dirty.Cobwebs dusty.The floor wasn't swept.The ceiling fan was full of dust - bedspread, pillow, the curtains, dressing table, cupboard was as though has never been cleaned ever.In an old rickety building was this Oyo.The toilet was a lot better.A/C was there all in a disastrous look - initially cool but after sometime as good as not there.Very old AC dysfunctional. All in all a DILAPIDATED state.No intercom to reach the front desk.If any problem was asked to dial the hotel reception no as if making an outgoing call.No standard absolutely! GOOD LORD!!!A good modest Oyo room is for Rs 800 a day with basic amenities! WiFi is there they told at the time of checking in.But no WiFi in the room.When asked? pat comes the reply... guests use laptops so wifi goes very costly.Was also told geyser for hot water there but alas!!! After 2 days of a HARROWING experience, I happen to MOVE on to the DECCAN COMFORTS. Oh Maaaa! What a relief!Very well accorded,guided to the DECCAN COMFORTS...So humbly positioned! Simple,Decent and a clean hotel room,must say! HONESTLY honest, secure and a Trustworthy ABODE! My room window was facing a school.So nostalgic of the lovely years gone by! Deccan Comfortable hotel very good... happy with reasonable price and all the more very welcoming. Staff very courteous, polite and wanting to offer their help by all means! One suggestion please.... A small pantry which could provide drinking water, coffee/chai biscuit initially would be great! Keep up the good work 👍

Rooms are clean, beds are much comfortable, washroom are well cleaned. Thanks for the better service

Absolutely horrible experience. Spoiled our mood entirely and we had to checkout in 3 hrs. Just check the photos, it will tell the story

Very Old room. Very dirty enviornment. Very difficult to stay here. No proper toilet bathroom and other services. Prefer not to stay

No one should stay here. This is the first time in his life that he is standing in such a bad room. Not at all clean, dirty smell, cockroaches, not good to stay at all. The review found on Google is the only way to pay the hotel in cash. Anyone who had to stay there for a day would not give it a single star.
