Park Guest House, Sri Aurobindo Ashram

This guest house is owned by the ashram , and I must say their rooms are very clean and hygienic,rooms are all faced towards the sea. The staff is also very helpful, it's was my first solo trip and I couldn't have found a safer place for my stay at Pondicherry. Since its owned by ashram there is a strict no non veg no alcohol inside the premises.

A very peaceful, safe and affordable place to stay with simple, clean rooms and a neat cafeteria. The view from the sea facing rooms is absolutely fantastic.

There is also a beautifully maintained garden out front to relax in and enjoy the fresh air.

Parking is available on the premises. You can rent cycles here too.

Rooms are okay,old still mentained.Common areas are not clean.Garden is so beautiful and the beach view is very nice.Bathroom and toilet were separate and not so clean.
Mosquitos were plenty😁.
They provided nets.Prefer AC rooms and book 2/3 months prior.

The place is clean, rooms are well maintained, the sea view from room is very good, take only if you are getting a sea view room in 1st 2nd or 3rd floor otherwise the place is very peacefully you can watch the sunrise from balcony. Since this is a guest house of ashram there is no room service, AC wasn’t working fine and we don’t get lunch and dinner only snacks is served at the canteen which has a good view except that the taste of food is average. The workers are a bit arrogant except that everything was good.

Rooms are neat and clean. The environment is quiet and calm. Great view of sea from room. Remember to obey the rules of the guest house, and you will be fine.

A Perfect stay in such a specially cared for and interesting building with a wonderful lovingly cared for garden. We enjoyed the attention to detail, simplicity and lovely balcony’s with fabulous views. These were just some of the highlights we enjoyed. So calm, serene, peaceful and safe. They have considered little details such as clean pure drinking water on every level, gorgeous mosquito nets, little clothes lines. It was absolutely perfect and spotlessly clean. A serene place with a very small but beautiful thematic garden. Both types of rooms with or without airconditioner are available. Booking done on their website. It is however not a hotel but guesthouse attached to Aurobindo ashram so certain rules are to be followed. And interior or furniture is not very luxurious. So if you are looking for such things then you will be disappointed. All rooms facing beautiful sea. No room service. Restaurant with limited facility. No lunch or dinner but merely for breakfast and high tea at afternoon time.

A quiet and serene accommodation run by the Sri Aurobindo management and located right at the beginning of the beach road this place has amazing beach view, a garden and restaurant among other things. Keep a keen eye out for small but immensely enlightening quotes all around the place
