Since visited this site, I was eagerly in search of its historical significance of this place. Therefore some memoirs in this context are found available in the history books," Tareekh-e-Amroha" and "Kishware Aulia" wherein it is recorded that in the early stage of dominance of East India company, a Garrison or military camp was established near Amroha and thenceforth British army was stationed there. In this duration, some temporary bangalows and other buildings were built. Mr. Edward Bradfoze, extra Assistant commissioner of Faizabad has narrated about the memoir of this Garrison in his letter written in 1825.
Thereafter some top officers of East India company , were not in favour of stationing of army in Amroha. Therefore the British soldiers were shifted to Meerut chchaoni. Mr. W. Leycester was the first collector, appointed by East India company in 1801 for Moradabad Division.
