For a body governing a whole district in a key region of Kerala, Calicut Collectorate deserves better words, but doesn't get none from me than irresponsible. I rendered an entire day's service for a football tournament organized for revenue employees, at the Calicut Corporation Stadium, and haven't been paid the promised compensation yet. It's been more than a month now, and, since he was a patron, as well as guest to the event, I hold the honourable District Collector of Calicut, along with his offices, responsible for the same. This is only to remind your honour that to the low earning citizen of your district who is not employed by the government and gets no regular paycheck at the end of the month, a mere 3000 rupees for a day spent under the scorching sun is also treasure. I hope your eminence would take kindly to my arrogance and do the needful. I honestly do have immense respect for you, dear Collector, as you came across as a soft spoken and humane person. But to raise this concern, I had only this way.
