Khanderao Market is a grand edifice that adorns the cityscape of Vadodara. Constructed by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in 1906, the building boasts of impressive architecture. At present, the building houses several important government administrative offices. Markets of flowers and fresh vegetables are held in the back garden of the building. A trip to this site will allow you to enjoy the beauty of this edifice while witnessing a slice of regular life in Vadodara.

Khanderao market is a famous and palatial building located in the city of Vadodara, Gujarat State, western India. It was erected by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in 1906, named after Khande Rao Gaekwad, Maharaja of Baroda (1856–1870). It was presented by him as a gift to the Municipality to mark the Silver Jubilee of his administration. The offices of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation are located in this building. Fresh vegetable and flower market is also located in the back garden.
Nowadays, street Photographers of vadodara, used to explore it for hidden stories. And probably one of the best places for street photography at vadodara.
