he Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) was founded in 1950 by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, independent India’s first Education Minister. Its objectives are to actively participate in the formulation and implementation of policies and programmes pertaining to India’s external cultural relations; to foster and strengthen cultural relations and mutual understanding between India and other countries; to promote cultural exchanges with other countries and people; and to develop relations with nations.
Before I go to the office of iccr in Ahmedabad to apply for the ICCR scholarship, I was so stressful and thinking weather will they listen to me or accept my application or what. But after I arrived ther, really the staff were so kind and helpful and we had a nice discussion and they, especially Shri Sbhash and Shaunak sir listened to my application in all details.
They have great and powerful team.
Thanks to them
