Sasan Gir Jungle Safari Reporting Office

Nicely developed place. People are helpful. Small museum, can work on that a little bit more. But the safari it self is a very good ride.

Visited in the bus,no need to go in jeep safari.You see same animals in both safaris,bus tickets available easily and are cheaper
We could see few lions and dears in the safari in two hours in morning

Beware of agents and book only from official government site: girlion.gujarat.gov.in, to pay an actual amount and get an authentic experience. The first morning and the last evening slot is the best time to see the lions. Even after we book and pay online, we have to report to the booking office and wait in queues. Gypsy car is allotted with a guide only, if the guide is unavailable, we have to wait. There is a parking lot and an outside parking area, but it is usually full. Better to reach 1-2 hours before the given time considering all aspects. There are toilets within the parking lot, but they are neither clean nor hygienic. Not recommended to visit during holidays and festivals due to heavy crowds.

Exit gate of sasan gir jungle safari , i personally recommend that your vehicle are good to enjoy the jungle and the animals are seen or not but the trip inside jungle are adventures so hope and luck if you see tiger here . We were fortunate to get a cottage at Sinh Sadan, which is allotted on first-come-first-served basis, subject to availability. I would rate it as one of the best place to relax at it's price.
