Eye Department in KC GENERAL, under the team headed by Dr Dayananda is excellent. They exceed expectations in terms of their promt and best in class treatment, which is no less than a virus-free hospitals like Manipal, Aster, Apolo etc.

Amazing surprise is that, all this is at free of cost, special attention towards each individual patients and a SOP that Dr Dayananda has set for his team to follow.

Dr Dayananda is not just a doctor but a best mentor for his team and patient attendees, to whom he guides the way a patient must be handled right from the initial consultation to end of review check up period and post treatment advises.

I can bet, his success rate will be atleast 99.99%. with his team also abiding by the guidelines set by him.

Finally, to the public, my review is purely based on my experience with the Dr Dayananda and his smart team for my mother's eye surgery.

This hospital is fully corrupted from ward boys to doctors, for every test they will make you pay bill first and then for test report they will ask extra money to give report and tell not to tell anyone that they ask money, even we should give ward boys(babu, jayamma and many)300 rupees every time they come with patient. So disappointed with the service. Poor people come to this hospital because they can’t afford private hospital but in here it is worse than it, they are looting poor people I don’t think Karnataka government has taken any action rather than sticking papers like do not give bribe, if someone ask for money give complain but they did not tell where to complain because this hospital is fully corrupted . I don’t think the government will be able to take any action against it… failed Karnataka government…..
Learn something from Delhi government..thank you

I got a small gyneac procedure done in this hospital. I was very skeptical that it is a Government hospital and how the services would be? I was pleasantly shocked to see how clean they are maintaining the premises. Excerpt the flooring which was maybe 50 years old, everything else was in par with a private hospital. The senior doctor and the PG’s were very helpful. Nobody asked me for any money. I paid only Rs.10. I recommend using this hospital for any services they offer. Kudos to the team.

To start with, it's a government hospital which means you don't have to pay any money for the treatment nor the medicine. Instructions are not clear enough for people who are visiting the place for the first time. It's a big campus and awfully crowded all 365 days of the year.

You'll have register yourself first as soon your enter. You'll have to tell them why you are here and they'll give you a sheet with the room number mentioned had you'll have to go there to meet your doctor. You'll have to stand in queue everywhere. Once you meet your doctor he'll give you the prescription and the pharmacy is in the ground floor you can go and collect your medicine for free. They do perform all major and minor operations here but they are not equipped with high end technology and tools. It's government hospital and it's always outdated. If you are getting a surgery/operation here and if you had to stay in the hospital for a couple of days then get ready pay for all the nurse and house keeping staff. You need to pay them for every thing, money, money and money. Have some cash with you in handy or it's gonna be tough.

Parking is bit of problem since the place is heavily crowded. Pay and use restrooms are available in the campus and there no hotel inside the campus. You'll have to get your food from outside.

I got vaccinated to prevent COVID-19 on 29th March 2021. The Vaccination nurse did an excellent job. Then I met the Medical Superintendent Dr.Venkatesh and also Dr.Lakshmipathy who had done commendable work in treating Covid patients in the hospital.
K.C.General hospital has done good job in crowd management in vaccinating the general public at large.
I wish more power to the management and staff in serving the humanity.

I again got vaccinated for my 2nd Dose of Vaccine on 29th April,2021.
The reception at the hospital venue was peacefull & orderly.Vaccination process is smooth till date.I only wish the same will continue in future.I congratulate the hospital management & staff for their tireless effort.

Got vaccinated for my Precaution Dose on 28th January,2022.
The vaccine dose is injected as per the stipulated period of 9 months gap from the date of the 2nd dose of vaccination. It is advised to get the vaccine without complacency for the sake of one's health.

The KCG Hospital staff are in the forefront in fighting the Covid-19 menace and are doing commendable job under the able guidance of Dr.Venkateshiah - Superintendent of KCG Hospital.

Very horrible services from government nurses
Doctors don't even attend or bother the delivery cases
For everything they ask money under table to treat the patient

Delivery women's are struggling with the poor quality service

Government has given everything free service and advertisement but not monitoring the delivery ward, all are interns and freshers doctors treat the delivery cases, duty doctor will sleep comfortable in room and chit chat with colleagues

I had seen each and everyone full day and full night during my sister's delivery, very carelessness doctors and nurses

In entire life the biggest physical pain for a woman is during delivery but during this time atleast doctors and nurses if they treat with kind and carefully how better a women feels

By seeing everything in deliver ward as a citizen of India i request State government to care and treat the delivery patients with proper procedure support India and support women

Humble request to the state health department to monitor and put cctv camera in deliver ward so that you come to know how they behave or treat the patient.

Thank you
Vijaya Lakshmi
