Rashtriya Mahajani Pathshala (RMP) is a government college for mainly regular students but private mode of graduation is also available here. Generally offers B.A. , B.Sc. , M.A. and M.Sc. College is affiliated to Kanpur University. Fees is less since it is government run college. Teachers are well mannered and polite. They teach whole heartedly. Classes and halls needs some extra care and maintenance as the floor and seats and tables are always dusty. Notices are only put on notice boards inside and outside of the campus wall. Facility of library, canteen and parking is available inside the campus. There is a big playground which is in between the Degree College and Inter College so it is accessible for both. One more good thing is that events such as debate sessions or other national events are organised in a good manner. Also student take part and perform actively in all of them. It's really good. Management registers your number in their database but never send any kind of message, no matter what's going on there. Whether exam details or distribution of admit card or distribution of ID Card, they simply put a notice on the board on campus wall so student can see it using their 'THIRD EYE'. I wonder why they ask for my and my father's mobile number in registration process. Also the member responsible for distribution of admission form is very rude and arrogant. He never speaks politely to anyone. Also the official website of college is of no use. It is just for formality and fashion as at present every college has its own website.

The year 1921 has special significance in the history of Indian independence movement, due to the non-cooperation movement under the leadership of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
This year, Indians boycotted foreign goods and names. In this context, some of the patriotic citizens of Sitapur district had done the courageous task of changing the name of the school "Coronation Mercantile" to National Mahajani School.
This name change was an unforgivable crime in the eyes of the British rulers, Shambhunath and Bapu Jai Narayan were arrested and punished. Rashtriya Mahajani Pathshala, associated with such a national spirit and progressive consciousness, first developed into the most important educational institution in the district of Sitapur as an inter-college and post-graduate college.
Presently, it is RMP Degree College. It is famous as a postgraduate college. Which was established in the 1961-62 season.

Teacher are nice but sometimes behaviour of staffs not good.
