Charaibahi College

Charaibahi College is the only centre of higher education in a large rural area in the eastern part of Morigaon district. It is purely a degree arts college established in the year 1990. It was 16th August of that year that some foresighted local dignitaries and well-wishers took pain to give birth to this institution. SInce then, all financial, academic and administrative affairs of the college had been managed and run by the Governing Body till recently it was provincialised with effect from 01-01-2013. The college is affiliated to Gauhati Univeristy. Charaibahi College has received its recognition under section 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC Act 1956.
