Authentic Goan food, well prepared and absolutely fresh. Rustic ambience and right in the middle of Calangute - Baga Road! What more could you ask for! We tried the Goan Sausage Fry 🌭, Chicken Lollipop 🍗, a Prawns Curry 🦐🍤🍛 made of dried and fresh prawns in a tomato gravy with Rice 🍚! All accompanied by chilled beer 🍺 and drinks 🍹! We were too full to try desserts!
Staff is polite and provide good recommendations! Though it was a bit hot without ACs, that adds to the enjoyment in having the good food with cold beers! Definitely worth putting on the must visit list for Goa!

Found this place when it started raining heavily and was very hungry. They have a small parking space behind the restaurant which can fit 1 or 2 cars. Ambience is very good and welcoming. Chicken Cafreal is a must try along with some freshly made Lime Soda to beat the heat. Staff is friendly.

Highly recommended! I visited Cafe Sussegado with my family. Ambience and balcony sitting is perfect. Ordered Chi Chi & Cola Float beverages which definitely are a must try. For food we ordered the following: Paneer 65 (starters) Main course: Prawns Balchao and Goan bread basket. Chicken Vindaloo and Steamed Rice. Veg Hakka Noodles.
Food quantity, quality & taste and overall service is exceptional. Will visit again 👍🏻

Authentic Goan food! Must try: golden fried calamari and stuffed crabs. They have a lovely house bread, goes great with Goan chorizo.

Amazing pork dishes, authentic goan food. Service is a bit delayed when they are crowded. Food quality is nice. Seafood is nice, but expensive. Good collection of drinks at the bar too. Tried roast pork, chicken cafreal, goan rice with mackerel curry. They did not have stock of fresh tap beer.

I had my last meal in Goa at Cafe Sussegado in Calangute. It’s a lovely and cozy place to sit comfortably and dine at. Everything I had there was great! I loved their Xacuti. The place is very tidy and hygienic. The staff is great and their service was prompt. I highly recommend this place for the people who want to have Goan food.

I searched this place online and decided to give it a try. Ambience - Soft rock music, old goa vibe, both indoor and outdoor sitting. Liked it Owner - Polite, welcoming, well mannered person Food - Loved chicken caferal here. It made me forget that I wanted to have liqueur. Chonak rava fry was good. Alcohol - Multiple options, being goa economical, owner suggested nice options that I loved Service - Good Overall I loved this place. Would like to repeat. Many criticize the preparation of Punjabi dishes at many restaurants in Goa. It doesn't make any sense. It's goa so go and treat your tastebuds with authentic goa flavors. Can you get authentic chicken xacuti or caferal at chandigarh? Obviously the question doesn't make sense. I loved this restaurant as this maintains goan soul.
