Another fantastic home cooked food place in Palolem! Forget about the ambience, the food Mavin makes is simply mouth watering. The preparation is straight from the heart and you can taste it in the food. Thank you for hosting me Rian. Another must visit place in Palolem if the quality of food is what you desire!

Rian is now open!

This is a basic restaurant serving yummy authentic Goan food. We tried the Special Fish thali and it was really really good. Fish was very fresh. For dinner we had pork sukka and chicken cafreal.
We've been at Palolem for a week and honestly this was the best food we've had yet.

Don't miss it when you're at Palolem.

What an amazing authentic food you will have here!
Went here after a brief search on google.
Man the food was so amazing that we went twice to this place. Would have visited again if we were staying longer.

We had Rian special fish thali, prawns in vindaloo curry and rice and pompfret tawa fry on our first visit.
The owner of the restaurant is so welcoming, suggested good options according to our preferences.
Prawns vindaloo was not a dish mentioned on the menu, but he made it specially for us.

On our second visit, I wanted to eat chicken, again after the suggestion of owner I ordered chicken thali with chicken cafreal dish(I had tried same dish in North Goa and man I was so disappointed and shared my bad experience with owner as well. He was confident that I will like the same dish here) and pork sausage curry with rice. We were blown! So delicious and authentic Goan food.

After talking to owner we got to know he has 11 years of experience on the deck as the head of food department. But he came back after quitting the job as he wanted to serve local Goan food!

It was a really humbling experience. Must visit if you are in Palolem.

Must visit if you are in South Goa. I had one of my best meals here and definitely visiting again. This is a small, simple place but with absolutely delicious mouth watering food. The host is very welcoming and warm, you can choose from the menu or let him know your taste preference and he will recommend accordingly. We ordered prawns and fish items with rice and everything was beyond yum. The taste was just wow, food is prepared with local ingredients and fresh catches. The fishes literally melted in our mouths and the prawns were so soft and juicy. Must must visit for an authentic, fresh, pocket-friendly Goan meal.

This no nonsense no frills eatery in a bylane of Palolem's Mohanbagh is a hidden gem of the entire town. The food is excellent - me and my friend have been to Goa a couple times and this was easily the best Goan meal we've had in our travels. The owner himself cooks all of the dishes and the staff is very friendly and warm. Add to that the reasonable pricing for fresh catch seafood and the budget alcohol pricing!
If you eat seafood or love experimenting, not coming to Rian's during your Palolem stay will be a big miss.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious and authentic Goan cusine. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.
We had modso fish, squid butter chilli garlic and chorizo pulav and it was amazing. The squid was so soft and delicious. Chorizo pulav was really tasty and was made from scratch. Good food takes time...
Must visit if you are in south Goa.
