This is one such hospital that changed my perceptions about govt. hospitals as a whole. Unlike what I had been told, OP was never crowded, and because of covid, people with fever, weren’t permitted inside the OP. Staffs were really helpful in guiding and results were delivered fast. Since we wanted to get a few tests done, it was a bit painful to go to each of the concerned department to know the payment details, which they’ll note down on the referral we get from doctor, and then go back to OP, pay the amount, get a receipt and then get back to the concerned department for the tests with the payment receipt (not sure if this is the usual process for payment for xray, ecg and other such services). Except a bit of issues with parking, we had a good experience.

Very poor service
My husband got admitted for the hernia surgery.. After the surgery 2 days doctor not even come to see the patient..The nurses also they won't even check the patient. The nurses are very rude they just come and go they won't even check the patient vitals..
Overall such a horrible experience

Poorly Managed Hospital...

1.They dont let the car with the patient to enter the hospital premises ,we had to make the patient walk from the gate to hospital building.

2. They have no parking space which makes it worse for a patient with troubles walking. As the road is one way and too congested we dont have much time to stop the car near the hospital gate.

3. The hospital greatly lacks proper administration and management. One has to wait for 1 to 2 & 1/2 hours just to get an OP ticket and sometimes they would ask u to leave saying the OP is full, the surprising part is that the hospital doesn't have a contact number if we had to inquire about the availability of a doctor , and if we came with patient and the doctor is unavailable they would simply sent us away no matter how far we came from.

Not bad at all for a government institution. Most of the staffs are so kind and helpful. As always some corrections are there from doctors are still there. Even then so much better than the private hospitals near by. Even for general category it is so economic for their treatments

My father has been admitted for COVID-19 the past week. I never expected this level of utmost care for my father from the entire healthcare team. I have constant communication with the physician- a big thanks to Dr. Amal and the nurses in that ward. I would also like to sincerely thank Jose, another one of the staff there. Anytime I get to talk to my father, he always speaks positively about the care, treatment, cleanliness ,and even food he is getting. I doubt we would be getting this same level of care in a private hospital. God bless you all and stay safe.
Sincere thanks from the family of K.M. Koshy
