Hats off to team Indian Oil for running this retail outlet. Actually this is only one petrol pump in Kaza and is located on the world highest altitude. Quite buzy during the day as no other petrol pump nearby. It's starts in the morning 9:00 am and close around 9:00 PM. Also there is no card or online payment options so better to carry extra cash with you during your kaza trip.

Only petrol pump available in spiti valley. There was huge rush when I visited last time due to heavy tourist flow in valley. Only single entry and exit point and the same road is connected to market therefore there was chaotic condition prevailing there. And the staff with there full efficiency was able to manage the rush somehow. Moreover the non availability of online transaction facilities for billing added a extra problem. Rest was okay.

Worlds highest petrol station at 3740m elevation. One and only furl filling station in Kaza. Always fill full tank here, there are no stations towards Manali side, until you cross Atal tunnel. There are few car and bike mechanic shops near by. Check brakes, tyres, clutch before leaving Kaza. Hats off to team IOC team for running in these extreme location. Very poor service. The way you guys have handled Harry Dhillon's situation is just pathetic. For 2k rupees, you guys gave him so much mental stress and created a mess of his reputation for sometime inspite of paying cash. Next time handle cash with care, and check multiple times at your end before troubling an innocent person/family.

Also owner of this pump should make sure that the pump has enough employees, so that they can handle fuel filling and proper cash collection process. Lastly, why there is no UPI/card swipe machine available?

World's highest fuel retail outlet (Not Sure about new ones though). Situated at more than 12000 feet above sea level. It is right at the heart of Kaza Town, right next to I love Spiti Valley Spot. It is the only petrol pump in Kaza so you need to refuel at this station. There aren't any fuel stations at 200km radius so this station is a lifeline. Just for that very reason it is always very very crowded and full of vehicles jam. So if you are lucky enough to witness an empty fuel station then refill it now rather than wait for later stages otherwise it is mostly jam packed.

This place falsely claims its opening time to be 6a.m. But nobody shows up before 10-11a.m.If you have to leave early for someplace from Kaza don't count on these people. They don't value time at all.
