1. We had purchased Qty 02 Single Lexus Bed for a total cost of Rs. 30000/- from showroom located at Gautam Buddha Nagar on 23 Sep 21. The item had a warranty of one year. At the time of purchase only one piece was available at the showroom and the second piece (which turned out to be defective) was provided from the godown.

2. On 29 Mar 22, the side weight bearing rail of mainframe left side broke. On further inspection we found that the piece had been joined using glue and thus had given up. Needless to say the weight bearing mainframe needs to be made from a single solid wood. Any joint would render it weak and would not be able to bear the weight. This joint was so carefully masked through paint and polish that we were not able to discern it with a naked eye. The photo of the broken bed is provided to you as an attachment for your reference.

3. Complaint was lodged on 30 Mar 22 with Complaint ID – RIPL-19286. Subsequently a technician (Mr. Abhishek (mob - +919315696224) was sent to our home on 02 Apr 22. On survey he suggested that the defective piece could not be repaired and the same needs to be replaced. He took the measurements for the replacement piece. He temporarily joined the defective piece with glue and assured us that the replacement would be provided within a week. We were assured by Mr. Sonu (+917795674927) a representative from the showroom said that the necessary replacement will be accomplished within a week.

4. After a week when we did not receive the replacement piece we enquired from Mr. Sonu (the personnel from showroom) on 08 Apr 22. He appeared to be impolite in his customer dealing as if the bed has broken due to our fault. He flatly refused replacement and said the repair is done and no more work will be undertaken on it.

5. Meanwhile yesterday 09 Apr 22 the bed is broken again from the very same joint and is beyond the state of use.

6. It is a sad experience to have been duped by a company of this repute and stature. No replacement was provided even though the item was under warranty. The customer care is not responsive. Avoid ROYAL OAK since they are ROYAL but NOT LOYAL...

I had purchased a king size Texas American bed from royal oak on 25 june 22 which was delivered on 09 july and assembled on 10 july after repeated phone calls. The bed is an absolute pain. It makes a horrible creaking sound everytime you get up or sit on it. Secondly the bed base which is made up of three mdf boards much smaller than the standard size. It's 72 x 72 inches as opposed to 78 x 72 inches because of which there is a huge gap between the bed head and the bed base and one cannot sit upright with a back rest. Secondly pillows keep falling into this trench and thirdly it looks awful. I had called up the manager of royal oak, Mr vineet and he said he would send a fitter to get this fixed but i haven't heard from him. I have also mailed to customer care but again there is no response. A prompt customer care and after sales service is more important than selling the product.i hope royal oak responds .
