Wooden Street - Furniture Store in Banjara Hills

Extremely disappointing.

My experience with Wooden Street has been extremely disappointing. The coffee table I ordered was delivered broken with a large crack in the top. When I called them about this they sent a repair person who did an extremely poor job fixing it (covering that section of the table with a thick layer of rough mat varnish that looks awful).

When I reached out to contact them about this I have been repeatedly ignored for over a month now. I would not recommend buying from them as they have shown that they provide a poor product, poor after-sale service, and dishonest business practices.

I would give it negative rating if I could. Dear all, please be aware that once you place the order, you have to wait an eternity to get them! And the worst part is their customer service. Absolutely unresponsive. They even had the audacity to hang up because they had no answers! Also, on the website it will show the status of your product as delivered but you would not have received it. I was told that my products will arrive in ten days and it's been 42 days and I'm still waiting! I even requested them to cancel but apparently they can't do it! So please use other online portals like pepperfry and others which are quick and responsive... Or shall I say responsible! Horrible experience. Never again! You want to validate.. Please go ahead. The worst store(Banjara Hills) I have seen. I ordered deewan on Jun-2022, they delivered it on Sep-2022. When I called then, they keep on saying the same answer: 'Will be delivered on Saturday'. May be I should ask them which Saturday :-) Also, the colour mattress and bolsters I ordered it different and the one which I received is different. Now, I don't know how many months they will again take to replace with my actual product. The worst customer care response and worst store employees response.

I sincerely suggest to visit this store only when you have enough patience and lot of time.

Wooden Street is a fraud company. Kindly check their twitter handle and you can see how many people are suffering.

They only provide template answers and no solution.

Order Id #341274 . I've ordered a product 3 weeks back and until now its not shipped. Website description says it will be shipped in 2 days.

Even customer support is a big fraud.

Please do not buy any product from either website or the store

Irony is that you cannot cancel any product. So there is no refund for anything. This itself says, how big fraud these people.

15th October:
Very bad service. Purchased a single product in the month of July. Shipments are coming in parcels from last three months. Store does not pick the call after sales. Customer care have no clue. Poor carpenter visits and again log a complaint mentioning still parts are missing. Better to go with other brands as wooden street just blocks your money, home space and disturb mental peace.
Order ID# 315005 (original , placed in July), then 323119 (parts missing#1), then 350095 (parts missing#2 and don't know how many more shipments for one piece of furniture. Every shipment takes 1 month and my entire room is blocked due to pieces of wood. 20+ support tickets opened and resolved too (in the system, not in original)

19th October:
No shipment has reached. Actually it's trap and really want to let customers know about this. Their post sales dealing & treatment is very bad. many of mine friends have experienced this issue now and you should be fortunate enough to get your product else it's money blocked scenario.

The delivery and installation was quick. Few complaints with the unit though:
1. There is a gap in the extendable wooden panels.
2. The chairs are not stable. They rock.
3. The table legs don't have a bush.

Love this store as we have purchased office furniture from them. We have been customers for decades. We went there to add to our office in hopes of finding high quality furniture. We were met with professionalism & fine customer service. We shall continue to shop there because we love their design aesthetic. It's truly the best place to start!

Disgusting service. We purchased a walken bed with customization and ordered through their Nagole store and visited Banjara hill store also. The bed that was delivered to us, has many design flaws. The Wooden street carpenter himself confirmed that measurement has gone wrong by manufacturing team. We have been following up since last 3-4 months and our pleas are falling on deaf ears. Customer service team seems to be passing ball with warehouse team and vice-versa with 0 action. We are hardly getting any actions from them. On top of it, Before buying we had got assurance from Ibrahim from Nagole store that he'd personally look into any issues. He is also not be found now, not answering our calls. Absolute nightmare
