We ordered a Jali King size bed and two jali lamp tables (#INSF473672133). After placing the order, we came across many negative reviews on various websites and Google reviews also were not encouraging and we were extremely worried that we had taken a bad decision. Followed up very frequently with the insaraf team. Although the website is poorly designed and does not give the correct updates on the furniture status (from in production till it's shipped one does not see the changes in status), my emails were replied to, on time and I got the delivery also on time. It has been 3 weeks since delivery and all is well so far. Happy with the quality and design is as shown on website. I will give a further review update after six months of use on the duration and sturdiness of the furniture. The one star less is for the status updating on website which does not happen.
Fya - I am a genuine customer who is putting up this review to help others. Therefore I have put up my order number and the delivered product photo. Take your call after careful evaluation as I cannot guarantee all will have the same experience. However currently I am satisfied with the purchase.

I can't seem to post replies to Insaraf's response. As asked, order number is INSF459032133. This reply is nothing but an attempt to dilute the review by sounding reasonable as if they cant determine the order id from the date of the order and nature of compaint.

I'd placed order for a'bed with storage and headrest' on 25 Dec and the order was delivered it on 31 Jan. My ordeal started right after it.

1. They used low quality Sheesham wood in the bed and even the design was not sound. Within a week, the centre support broke and my kid was lucky not to hurt his back badly. They have been claiming to send a new centre support for past 12 weeks(and counting), but I'm yet to receive any.

2. The image displayed drawers under it for storage. Of course there was no indication that drawers may not be applicable for all variants or if at all there were variants. I was lured by the price and design, however according to them, the word 'storage' in product display didn't mean any storage and so no drawer was supplied. However in my mind I paid for drawer too. Otherwise it's fairly expensive.

3. The customer care is pathetic. No matter what you ask, they would write the same mail.

4. I asked for cancellation and refund and requested to talk to their managers, but they wont share their details. I even visited their Bangalore shop, but they wont entertain online sales!

I'm planning a law suit against them in Bangalore Consumer Forum. Other aggrieved people may join me.

I wish I had checked the reviews before ordering from them. I was given a delivery date of 21st Jan that was pushed to 28th Jan, then 6th Feb and now the latest update from them says "Your order is in the polishing stage it will be ship in our next vehicle schedule by 15th Feb evening." There is no proactive update from their side ever. It is only when I call that I get an update.

Would not recommend them to anyone just based on the absolute uncertainty around delivery.

Pls do not buy from this Company. They deliver broken or wrong products and will never take care of post Sales services. You will have to wait for an year to get something. I have ordered in December 21 and they delivered faulty product and I am yet to get the replacement. They simply do not come on phone/mail or even shamelessly don't even look at social media posts.

do not buy from this company. ordered tv unit. delivered after 2 months. when opened it was completely damaged. no after sales service, no replacement/ refund till date. i have been mailing them since 4 months but no action taken. ITS A REQUEST TO ALL OUT THERE - STRICTLY DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. even if they give heavy discounts do NOT buy because you will end up receiving damaged product only .

Saraf has to be the worst company in all of India. They took our deposit and never delivered our furniture. 2 months later and they make the same excuses. They also won’t give a refund. Its maddening.

I have emailed and called atleast 25 times. Same answer every time. "yes, maam, we will have a supervisor contact you."

But their trick is just to pacify you. No manager will ever call and your money will be gone.

The only thing they do is have a bunch of people to answer the phone and take payments. They don't deliver the products and they don't provide any customer service.

They are a disgrace to the face of India.

EDIT--- see the pathetic robotic response below? I have emailed dozens of times with the same details and they do nothing to help you. Avoid them like the plague.

Pathetic after sales service. I have been following with them since 1 month to get damage product replacement but no one is responding. If you call to customer care they wont respond or give false promises. totally disappoint with purchase.

If I could give no star for writing the review would have been great.
Saraf furniture has definitely appointed more people in customer care than in their factory because their product is never ready or has some quality issue so they delay your order. FOR EVERYONE'S INFORMATION I HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED MY FURNITURE AFTER THE FULL PAYMENT. Everythtime when you call there is a delay of 15 days. When asked about bad reviews they blamed it on the delivery agent and told us to trust them was a big mistake. I have asked for my refund and if they deny which I am sure they will, I am going ahead with consumer court complaint. I'll update the procedure here soon.
